out of money
out of friends.
this is absolutely amazing.
the cold war kids have outdone themselves once again.
and interactive video, how creative.
my favorite version is yellow red red blue.
but i like it better as red red red blue and then at 33 seconds change the first block from red to yellow.
but you can chose for yourself at http://www.mtvmusic.com/artist/coldwarkids.jhtml

as mentioned.
via twitter, a blog post. i feel as though i could not express these thoughts in 160 characters or less.
so here we go.
i always get sucked into these series. and i love them, but i loathe waiting for them, upon finishing book two of my current series i asked my father if there was a book four. no there wasn't it doesn't come out until JESI'S BIRTHDAY. that's forever and then i went to the website to read about it. there is going to be SIX of them and the estimated finishing date is 2011. I'll be in college by the time i come to the conclusion about Rose and Dimitri's love. UGH. but also authors must have this sixth sense and know which characters i enjoy the most because they always kill them off. like really mason, Dimitri, and oh it is just too much.
and then there are the thrilling conclusions you are so excited about and then they suck so horribly. like the fifth book in the seer series. i waited so long to read it and then that book was such a failure, it made me wish i hadn't known there was a fifth book; this also rings true with the maximum ride books, series of unfortunate events, and cirque du freak. and please don't get me started on breaking dawn, that wasn't even a book that was firewood.
making movies out of books is just another way Hollywood is ruining things. it just shows that the screenwriters were completely unoriginal and sucked at thinking of anything interesting. so they took people's thoughts and turned them into their own. but worse than that are the authors like, for example, Stephanie Meyer, who go on saying that it's exciting for the movie deal, and then lie to all the book's fans and says it sticks so close to the book. FYI it doesn't. twilight, gone with the wind, series of unfortunate events... all victims. yes, i am aware that the movies are based so things aren't supposed to be 100%, but they are based so loosely that they could even change the title. i have yet to read slumdog millionaire's novel Q&A, but i almost don't even want to.
and the straw that broke the camel's back?
http://www.lauriestolarz.com/novels/black_is_for_beginnings.html
that is disgusting, she did all of these things: the waiting, the killing of characters, and the sucky conclusion. stolarz made me wait for so long and now with the next and probably final novel she turns it into a graphic novel. whatthefuck. excuse my language, but who in their right minds does that.?! i hate those little Asian looking things, i mean i have no problem if other people enjoy things like that, but i am not one of those people. another example of this blasphemy is the maximum ride books.
now don't get me wrong i enjoy reading, but reading a book and enjoying it is completely different than obsessing over it, and what people do nowadays is mostly in the category of obsessing. it is because of these "teenies" as gabriella call them, that i have lost interest in so many things, and it's not just in books, it also refers to bands, movies, and websites.
but whatever, it's not like a post can change these things.
i just wanted to get some things off my chest.
don't take it personal.
so here we go.

ain't it a shame
we're so young and insane?
another possible amanda trip shot down by her mother. i wonder why her mother even says yes when she knows she'll find some reason to shut it down.
my mother the optimistic one says this time next year we'll be eighteen and things'll be different. we'll be adults.(:
in, as of today, 199 days i shall be eighteen.
which means in 192 days amanda will be.(:
yeah i still find it queer how she's only a week older than me.
but as i was saying, instead of going to the movies with amanda i went to the movies with gabriella and her younger brother bobby. we saw dance flick and to tell the truth i was disappointed. i was expectig something better. as soon as we dropped the morris' back off at their house i fellasleep on the cuoc and didn't wake up until 8:55 where i then moved to my bed and slept for the rest of the night. a grand total of 12 hours of sleep. so i wasn't tired at all when i got to school.
we had a surprise visit from guidance which took up the majority of english which consisted of her saying we needed to work harder than we are now if we want to get into college. and we got our sol scores back. i got a 512 writing and nbum bum bum 600 reading.(: i was excited to say the least because i had no intentions of taking that final exam. in anatomy i colored a vagina and watched old gregg, which still freaks me out.
math we went over a worksheet which basically turned into me typing hush sound yrics into my ti 89. it is quite tedious. then lunch of nachos andn a smoke/tan session with jesi and gabriella. where they smoke i tan. in history we went to the library to work on our projects and i got a 600 on that sol as well. i'm so excited. i had never gotten a perfectscore on an sol until this year, and then i manage to get two.toay was nice.
for a change.

gabriella&bobby;
are spending the night tonight over at my house. they are in love with my wii fit to say the least. theyare in constant battle to see who can pwn the other. i think back to my original account when i had super hula hoop. my high score was like five or six or seven hundred... and they are trying to beat 418. they don't know the real skills i possess(: haha.
so this weekend was good. i'm happy it's three days considering it's 11:00 and i am not in the least bit tired... meghan's birthday festival including ice skating, swimming pools, donuts, 24/7 pizza action, david blaine, my first camping experience, and favorite matthew, took up most of my weekend starting with ice skating and pizza on friday. i didn't skate but i was the official skater helper helping everyone with putting on and taking off skates. walter came over around 10:30 or so and looking back and thinking about it: i would have never imagined myself sharing a cigarette with katey bateman's boyfriend and poobah; when completed i got to ride in the back of a moving truck for the first time. it was pretty exciting(: and then saturday everyone left by or before one so meggo and i trotted down to the pool to work on our black kid tans; we followed up our swimming with some ranch dip which surprisingly tastes good with almost anything. For dinner i became the new matt and we went to olive garden and had dinner where meghan preceeded to get tickets to go see the fray and jack's mannequin she was excited to say the least. we got home and froliced and looked up jobs we could get. AND THEN WE WENT CAMPING. well it wasn't really camping, but it was pretty authentic. we contemplated life in a hammock until the bugs started biting like mad crazy and moved over to the tented picnic area where we had earlier cleared out and placed assorted sleeping bags, r pattz pillows, tie dye quilts, and futon mattresses up so we could sleep. we were attacked numerously by her dogs in middle of the night and the horny shadows were quite frightening, but all in all it was so nice. i'm up to 28 bug bites. the ones on my right thigh are really itchy and they all are at least half a centimeter in diameter. gabriella can't be near me because my itching makes her itchy, but that doesn't matter because she has the wii fit, thus mentioned earlier. tomorrow maybe, hopefully, fantastically i will be hanging out with amanda. everyone has been getting in rough patches, break ups, etc with their "boyfriends" this weekend and she was no exception. friday her little bag o douche dumped her by clicking the box irreconcilable differences and was like i'm just not feeling this. whaaaa?
and and brittany, oh poor brittany.
and then christina and john are in a bit of a scratch dealing with a very salacious amanda in wisconsin... i mean she wants him bad, no one tells a guy they love their voice and mention getting their nipples pierced if they don't have some sort of mcnasty thoughts in their mind.
but moving off the subject of piercings i shall never get... owww that must really hurt D:
i really have no sense of time this weekend. it's quite strange. it doesn't feel like 11:30 and yesterday it never felt really timely?... i ate when i was hungry, slept when i was tired... it's odd.
really.
so, in conclusion, i am itchy and i need to use the facility.
goodnight(:

i think i have i right to know
you already told me what happened
so why can't you just tell me the rest.

i mean would it be so fucking horrible if we were on the same level for once?
i wanted to hang out with meghan today,
but went to gabriella's instead.
i chose wrong.

haha, but caroline and i are going to study tomorrow, for real this time and i might be getting my new phone tomorrow if verizon lets me... D: if not i'll try to convince my dad to get the env2 in black not red. anddddd i plan on droppin off my YMCA form soon, i'm so excited and i really hope i get it. so wednesday ap exam I'M SO NERVOUS. ack, and laske did the most amazing thing today he gave us little bags o goodies to prepare for the ap exam. granola bar, fruit snacks, pens, etc... i ate the food for lunch today since i forgot to grab my rice cakes, gosh darnnn.
so the wii fit is all i expected and more, but i wish there was a way to reset your goals before the two weeks becasue i put in gain 2 pounds instead of lose and it was like toady you need to gain 4.9 more pounds and i was like GOSHDARNIT. and i had to delete all the progress i made which was about and hour, but still...
andddd yeah, today went by fast, demi and i got a 100 on our kids book, good times good times...and we watched our tarantism video today; it was funny but if miss taylor coulnts off AFOAIGB. she didn't even know about the disease herself so if we get a low grade i'll be super upset. I'm really hoping to get an A this quarter... it'd be exciting if i did(:
oh i beat my high score on super hula hoop on wii fit. 393 rotations(:
but it got deleted...
oh well.
i'm going to go do math now. this test will be the test i get a good grade on!

why does this always happen to me?
my phone was working again
and then bam broken screens... both
i filed my claim and hopefully verizon will let me get a new phone, but they are verizon and how have they helped me before?
so i can't get my contacts out of my phone AGAIN
so i'll have to rebuild my entire contact book AGAIN
ughhh, and i am so strict when it comes to my phones, but you mess up once and everything is ruined.
ughhh.
rant: over.

what is that queen song?
oh yeah, another one bites the dust.
voyager two gone, knocked into a sink of running water; mother says she thought it wasn't safe to put it there, but if she thought that, she would have told me to move it, but i have a text and it bugs me that i can't read it. So I have given up with voyagers and will soon be investing in an env2 or however you put that, because they seem much more durable and reliable than a voyager.
and how shall i pay for said phone? a job. yes, shocker. But this summer is going to be crucial job, license, collegey stuff, but it'll be worth it. I already have my application plans for subway: down by CNU, the hospital, or the one by menchville... i just really like subway for some reason... so if they are hiring... (: exciting stuff. But what i really really really really want to do is be a camp councelor at the YMCA, i loved working at the boys and girls club down in georgia, and i love kids so it seems perfect. getting paid for what you love to do, that herdly ever happens anymore. but i feel so under qualified for everything. that plus my super fear of rejection, yikes. D:
this week semi-smooth, it was very quick. i took my english SOL test, i panicked because neither caroline nor melvin had a prompt about paper airplanes and i thought i typed in the wrong code, but andrea had the same thing so that cleared things up. ANNNNND meghan is getting her new phone today, hopefully. oh the irony that i ruin mine as soon as she gets hers... uhm what else, i am doing surprisingly well in latin :D yes i know the excitement of it all... and we took a math test... i felt super good on day one... really bad on day two so we'll see how that goes, we get our scores tomorrow. OH YES, i also finished the great gatsby and took the super long cold war test today in histroy.
by now, it seems as though i am just rambling about my life so i'll conclude this with a good night.
so, goodnight(:

it's paige's birthday
yay paige.
moving on.
very nice day, waking up to meghan's snoring and then storming in on my dad and waking him up so he can take us to ihop for chocochip pancakes.(:
then making it to church a smidgen late and having to record something about how amazing my mom is... yeah i was having an amazingly horrible hair day and didn't want to go on camera, so we did, as in gabriella and i, a ven-trill-o-quist act of some sort, so hopefully it'll get a chuckle and a shoulder shake from snug.(:
buuut after church we droppedmeghan off and went on an epic adventure to find a tarantula, a lawn chair, and shaving cream. we found all. the tarantula, named clancy mcdoogles, isi freakin' huuuuge. like for real, so hopefully it won't be too "ostentatious" for our anatomy project. I mean it's remote controlled that's cool. padre and gabster had a wrapping paper fight at factory card, and then we headed over to b&n's to wait for andrea to pick up clancy and read the sweetest book everrr. and we concluding this adventure with a trip to carraba's? if that's how you spell it, and we had the most adorable waiter ever, his name was matt.
and here i am home about to go outside, tan (despite the humidity), and read some great gatsby. I was so upset when that girl told me about the car accident, i even twittered about it.
i was that upset.
well i am off to wrap mother's wii fit and work on her card and then tannnnnnnn.(:
later.
oh and sorry for the rush-ness of it all. and the sloppyness, i just don't feel up to proofreading and such.
:D
oh, yes... so when i go back and remin-ess about my blog and read it later i want to remember this : "he's adorable."
"... he's behind you." (:
